It's time...

Stop lying to yourself. Stop trying to debate who the greatest female rapper of all-time is anymore. Quite frankly it's been clear for several years now. Lauryn Hill is and will always be my favorite artist of all-time, but I would be lying to myself if I didn't call the 34-year-old Queens rapper Onika Tanya Maraj a.k.a. Nicki Minaj the G.O.A.T.

Sales, longevity, lyrics, flow, popularity, influence... IT DOESN'T MATTER what factors you use to crown the greatest female rapper of all-time, Nicki wins every single factor.

Whether she is featured on a track out-rapping your favorite male rapper, or she is spitting alone on her own single, or even rapping BARS on a track alongside the one and only Beyoncè, Nicki is one of the most versatile rappers ever and always delivers.

Although some have been critical of her recent lyrical content, and her you're not on my level response to the earth-shaking Remy Ma diss track, one thing can never be criticized...HER FLOW. Her ability to rap on beat with ease while using a variety of tones and emotions makes every verse she does stick with the audience and can make up for any lyrics that some may consider not her best.

Nicki has come a long way since stealing the show while rapping alongside legendary rap icons Kanye West and Jay-Z on the track "Monster" from Kanye West's 2010 album "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy". Since that moment she has taken over the rap industry and is building a legacy that will be remembered for a very long time. It's time to stop debating and give Nicki Minaj her crown of being the greatest female rapper of all time. Appreciate her as much as possible now because to quote Kanye West "People never get the flowers while they can still smell them."
